Early Childhood and Operations
The Early Childhood and Operations teams have been working together to deliver a strategy for sustainability as part of our Future Earth Agenda.
Our Cycle to Work scheme promotes a sustainable way to travel to work whilst also reducing the cost of bikes for our colleagues. Through this program, we help our colleagues purchase a bike to commute to work whilst providing our employees opportunities to use Tax and National Insurance savings. We are looking to add e-bikes to the program to help further reduce our people’s carbon footprint when commuting.
We promote our Season Ticket benefit, which provides support to purchase an annual ticket on public transport also helping to reduce our employee’s carbon footprint when commuting.
Over time we will review several other initiatives to support our Future Earth Agenda. From savings on electronic and hybrid vehicles, installing electric charging points at key locations, promoting car sharing opportunities and incentive schemes to the use public transport or more environmentally friendly options when commuting to the workplace, we hope to help reduce the carbon being generated for and by our colleagues when commuting to work.
