Harvey Lay

Harvey is the Property Director at Bright Horizons and is responsible for the team that manages all property and health and safety-related aspects of the nursery portfolio.

These include: facilities; health and safety audits; asset/lease management; and refurbishments/project work. He also leads on the acquisition of new nurseries, from site identification, be it a green field site or the conversion of a historic building, to the full fit out.

Harvey joined Bright Horizons at the beginning of 2016, prior to which he was a director in a Property Development Company which specializes in mixed-use retail-led developments. He went to university in Brighton and then on to Liverpool for his masters. Following his master’s degree, he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. His professional career includes working in construction management, general practice surveying, corporate real estate, acquisitions, development and estate and asset management.
