Five Speckled Frogs

You Will Need:

The Activity:

  • Sing the song with your little one
  • Bring the song to life by creating your own pond scene using craft materials, paper, pens, paper plates, fabric or boxes. You could use outdoor resources such as mud, stones, twigs and leaves.
  • On rainy days your little one could use their physical skills to be the frog jumping in the pond, by using puddles for the pond.
  • You can do some exercises with your child, jumping in and out of a make believe pond 5 times with a rest and freeze of 5 counts then repeat the 5 jumps, keeping the number 5 in mind.
  • You can explore the environments that different animals and reptile’s live.

One jumped into the pool, where they were nice and cool,

Then there were four green speckled frogs, “glub glub!”
