Safety comes first at every Bright Horizons nursery and we maintain comprehensive and rigorous health and safety practices.
Qualified Paediatric First Aiders are present at each nursery at all times, and all of our practitioners are trained in Health and Safety, Child Protection and hygiene practices. We conduct daily checks of the nursery environments and regular Health and Safety audits.
Keeping Everyone Safe is also a key component of the children’s learning at nursery. We introduce them to the concepts of health and hygiene, and support them to understand and manage risks. We do this with the help of our very own Superhero, Candy Floss, a blue-striped zebra created and named by nursery children. Regulatory inspectors often comment on the positive impact of Candy Floss as a child-centric and effective learning resource.
Bright Horizons’ key priority at all times is the health, safety and wellbeing of the children in our care, their families and our staff. In specific regard to the current pandemic, we are operating to our own comprehensive and regularly updated COVID-19 polices regarding infection control, and we will also continue to introduce additional measures in line with the latest guidance from the NHS, Public Health Bodies, and government.
