Basildon Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Basildon Day Nursery and Preschool, where we provide dedicated, nurturing care and early years education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. With onsite car park, our nursery in Basildon is located within the David Lloyd Club behind Festival Leisure Park, and close to Basildon Station.

Our home from home environment provides a warm, naturally inviting, and welcoming space within the rooms with each dedicated to a specific age group. They are filled with age-appropriate resources and activities to support your child to meet their development goals and excel during their time at the nursery.

Your child will love exploring our two large gardens, which are divided into separate areas and provides your child with access to the outdoor environment offering space for your child to learn through active play Nursery and Pre School children enjoy free flow access to the gardens, giving them the opportunity to choose where they learn and play. In addition, we offer Boogie mites an interactive music and movement session, which is loved by children of all ages and provides exciting opportunities to learn about the world through music and song.

As well as our wonderful rooms and large gardens, we’re fortunate to be inside a David Lloyd Club. Allowing our children have access to the David Lloyd dance studio and beautiful soft-play area; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

At Basildon nursery we pride ourselves in our unique settling sessions. We provide 6-to-8-week settlings, where time and care are taken to ensure your child and family feel at home here at the nursery. Our settling sessions gives your child and family the chance to make key bonds and attachments to the dedicated staff within the team. We feel providing a strong secure partnership with families builds the foundation of your child’s nursery journey.
