What our Parent Panellists say

Daisy

Hi, I'm Daisy! A first-time mum to my wonderful daughter who attends Bright Horizons Didcot. By day, I'm a Product Manager for a Tech startup and in my rare free moments, I love baking yummy cakes, catching up with friends, and indulging in said yummy cakes. I’m thrilled to be part of the Parent Panel, sharing feedback with Bright Horizons, as well as personal experiences for the benefit of other parents and families.

Brendan

My name is Brendan, I’m 40, living in Leeds with my wife Ruth, and 2-year-old son Luke. Originally from Ireland, I've called Leeds home for 9 years. By profession, I'm a Design Quality Engineer for a medical device company. Outside of work, I enjoy kickboxing, running, and volunteering for the British Red Cross.

Jamie

Hey, I'm Jamie, 37, and an Assistant Head Teacher at a secondary school in Essex. I embraced parenthood in 2022 with the arrival of my son. Since then, I’ve been on the rollercoaster of parenthood. Dad life is both the best and most challenging job I’ve ever had! Beyond that, I enjoy golf, good food, and quality time with friends and family. I’m passionate about child development - specifically around routines and emotional growth.

Ivanna

Hello! I'm Ivanna, a stay-at-home mom from NYC, now happily settled in London for over 6 years. We welcomed our son just over 3 and a half years ago, making him a proper Covid baby. As a family we love to travel, and so far, our boy has visited 11 countries and been on 31 flights!

Sooz

Hey, I'm Sooz! I have the pleasure of being mum to my daughter Kaia who attends Bright Horizons Windsor. With almost two decades in the hairdressing industry, I now work for a major colour manufacturer in the marketing department. When I manage to find a spare moment, I enjoy Pilates, anything fashion related, and travelling. I’m excited to be part of the Parent Panel, sharing my honest journey into motherhood.

Daria

Hello, Daria here! I’m a finance professional turned Communications Officer and a CIM (level 6) affiliate studying member. Outside of work, I’m passionate about perinatal mental health and spend time volunteering with charities that support parents struggling with mental illness. I also love photography, hiking, and exploring with my husband and son.

Claire

Hi, my name is Claire and I have wonderful daughter Ottilie who is about to turn 1! We’ve been with Bright Horizons since Ottilie was 7 months old and she is absolutely thriving there. When I’m not being mum, I work as a doctor in maternity, delivering babies and caring for women’s health. I love the outdoors, being active, baking and cooking fresh, healthy meals for the family. I’m very much looking forward to making a positive difference through being part of the Parent Panel!

Dina

Hello, I'm Dina, a South West London mum to a lovely 2-year-old boy. Motherhood has been an exciting journey – one with a steep learning curve! I’m particularly interested in weaning, using my love for food and cooking to create new recipes that are age-appropriate for my boy. I enjoy getting creative and spending time outdoors when I’m not balancing work and managing the “terrible twos” – learning how to deal with big little feelings!

Laura M

Greetings! I'm Laura, a Canadian who’s been living in the UK for a decade now. I’m Mum to my 19-month-old son named Henry and am currently expecting my second baby! Both my children are the result of IVF treatment. I work for the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and have a background in marketing. I have a love for languages, travel, country music, and any games involving words or trivia.

Laura H

Hey all, I'm Laura! EMEA Head of Talent Acquisition by day, mom to my fabulous 2-year-old, Tommy, by night. Despite the many demands of my working life, I try to embrace motherhood with a smile and endless amounts of love! I strive to create a balance between career ambitions and the joys of family life.

Nicole

Hi! I'm Nicole, a Harpenden mum of two daughters, Betsy (3) and Orla (1) and I’m part-time Solicitor. We've called Harpenden home since 2020 after moving from London. Our daughters each joined Bright Horizons Harpenden Central at 12 months when I returned to work part-time for a National Health Charity. Nursery has been a vital part of building our community while navigating parenthood and we are very grateful to our nursery staff who have become like family. We love watching the girls bond with their teachers and little friends alike and I’m very much looking forward to being part of the Parent Panel.

Claire

Hi, my name is Claire, and I’m mum to Rupert (nearly 3) and Wilfred (6 months). When not on maternity leave, I’m a paediatric speech and language therapist for the NHS working with young people with autism and social emotional mental health difficulties. Previously, I worked with preschool children. At the moment, I’m really enjoying revisiting the wonder of childhood with my own boys. In my spare time you'll find us outside (a must with two boys!), riding or watching bikes and cooking.

Rajpreet

Hello, my name is Rajpreet, mother to a three-and-a-half-year-old and a full-time solicitor in London. Our family's journey with Bright Horizon started when my child was just nine months old, aligning with the uncertain times of the Covid-19 pandemic and my return to work as a new mum. The transition from the Midlands to London added another layer to our experiences. As part of the Bright Horizon parent panel, I really look forward to sharing these insights, reflecting the unique challenges and triumphs of balancing a professional career with the demands of parenthood.
