Children at Bright Horizons East Barnet Day Nursery and Preschool have been treated to a new garden following a major refurbishment.
A grand opening and ribbon cutting took place on Monday this week and Nursery Manager Ciara Reilly said she was over the moon to finally see the garden completed for our parents and children.
“The grand opening means a lot to me and the team, especially with all the restrictions that had been in place throughout COVID and now being lifted, allowing us to welcome everyone back in,” said Reilly. “The children have loved watching the change happen day-by-day and are even more excited now that they actually get to play out in our wonderful new environment. Our parents have been incredibly patient and we thank them for coming on this journey with us. It’s been a lengthy journey, but it has really been worth it.”
The children spent a sunny afternoon on Monday taking part in a number of garden activities including playing with new equipment and gardening itself, alongside parents and staff.
