Work has begun on a brand-new Bright Horizons’ nursery, Cedar House Day Nursery and Preschool located on Dryden Road, and is planned to open in late November.
Cedar House Day Nursery and Preschool is the next addition to Bright Horizons already large portfolio of over 300 community and workplace nurseries across the UK. The nursery will be a new premise replacing a former care home in Bush Hill Park and is undergoing construction work to provide plenty of room and space internally for the children to play and learn with a large garden area to the rear of the building.
The nursery is ideally located with easy to access transport links, including Bush Hill Park Rail Station being just a three-minute walk from the nursery with regular services heading to London Liverpool Street. Also, it’s near Enfield town centre, being approximately a two-minute drive away.
Lianne, Regional Director at Bright Horizons said: “We are so excited for the construction work to begin at Cedar House Day Nursery. It has taken meticulous planning to design and create a nursery with plenty of open space internally for children to be able to learn and explore in an enthusiastic setting.
“Having this nursey in such a great location means we can support lots of families in the community who need high quality childcare. We look forward to supporting each child in nurturing a lifelong love of learning through our different activities inspired by Bright Horizons’ Bright Beginnings Curriculum.”
Bright Horizons Cedar House Day Nursery and Preschool will have a team of approximately 40 people who will be starting at the setting in November. The nursery will care for children aged three months to five years-old and will include three large baby rooms, two toddler rooms and one preschool room.
Some of the exciting new features will include a large garden for children to feel inspired and be adventurous. There will also be free flow access to the gardens from the preschool and toddler rooms and a dedicated baby sleep room for the young ones to relax after a busy day of exploring.
Bright Horizons offer an enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum at all their nurseries, designed by Early Years specialists from Bright Horizons. Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings puts each child’s happiness and wellbeing at its heart. This holistic yet personal approach will support each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress.
