Bright Horizons Cedar House Day Nursery and Preschool, in Enfield located on Dryden Road, will be led by Nursery Manager Ela, who will be fulfilling her role when it opens in November.
The Enfield nursery will provide care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The setting will be situated at a former care home in Bush Hill Park and is undergoing a complete redesign where inside they’re providing plenty of room and space for the children to play and learn and a large garden area to the rear of the building.
Ela has over 16 years’ experience working in Early Years and has been a valued member of the Bright Horizons family for the past 3 years. Her journey in the field commenced at the age of 16 as an apprentice. Over the years, she has progressed to her current managerial position, having completed extensive training in management and safeguarding along the way, enhancing her expertise. She is excited to be taking on the role of Nursery Manager at the brand-new nursery.
Ela said: “I am ecstatic about the new nursery setting for many reasons, but mainly for the opportunity to work in a fresh and modern environment that is designed to enhance the learning and development of the children. I’ve always had a passion for working in Early Years, and I think being able to help shape the lives and witness the growth of children that are in your care as a practitioner is just so rewarding.”
Bright Horizons Cedar House Day Nursery and Preschool will have a team of around 40 Nursery Practitioners. The curriculum that will be used at the setting is one in use across all Bright Horizons nurseries in England, Bright Beginnings, which utilises a holistic approach designed to acknowledge the individual voice and needs of each child to promote confidence, wellbeing, and a genuine love for learning.
