Local Mayor makes special visit to Redhill Day Nursery

Bright Horizons Redhill Royal Earlswood Day Nursery and Preschool in Surrey recently hosted a vibrant open day event, welcoming families and the Mayor and Mayoress of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead, Councillor Eddy Humphreys and Mrs. Sarah Humphreys, who joined in the celebration.

As part of the Eco-Schools Programme, the nursery engaged children in exciting Forest School activities throughout the day, fostering a deep connection with nature and promoting sustainable practices. The Forest School activities organised during the open day allowed children to immerse themselves in hands-on experiences, from outdoor exploration to nature-inspired crafts.

The nursery has undergone a complete interior redesign, aimed at creating a more spacious and engaging space for children to learn and develop. The renovation has opened up the internal layout, providing ample room for children to explore and engage in various educational activities.

Councillor Eddy Humphreys, Mayor of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead said: “I was delighted to have been given a tour of the facilities at Royal Earlswood Day Nursery and to see the engaging environment that has been created for the children. I enjoyed joining in with all the fun and can see there is already such an inspiring team of dedicated Early Years practitioners ready to welcome children to the setting.”
