Bright Horizons Bishops Stortford Day Nursery and Preschool is thrilled to announce that they will be welcoming families to tour their brand-new nursery next week from Tuesday, 6th August 2024.
The new purpose-built nursery will open on Friday 19th August and is in a convenient location to help support working families who are juggling childcare and education commitments with their own working schedules. It is part of the Stortford Fields estate development located on the outskirts of Bishop’s Stortford. The 2,200 new homes development is just a few minutes’ drive from Bishops Stortford railway station.
With a team of approximately 30 dedicated Nursery Practitioners, led by experienced Bright Horizons Nursery Manager Sheryl, the Bishops Stortford nursery is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning experience.
Sheryl, who brings around seven years of expertise in the field, expressed her excitement about the brand-new nursery, stating:
“I’m so excited to be a part of the brand-new purpose-built nursery and welcoming new families and a team of passionate practitioners who are eager to welcome all our new families to Bright Horizons Bishops Stortford. Our nursery will be focused on nurturing and developing each child to reach their full potential supported by our Bright Beginnings curriculum and I can’t wait to be involved in the early stages of our children’s education.”
Bright Horizons Bishops Stortford Day Nursery and Preschool offers places for children aged three months to five years old. The facility boasts three spacious baby rooms and two toddler rooms, each with direct access to their own gardens. A large preschool room offers an exciting play and learning environment where children will begin preparing for the next adventure of school. Key features at the setting include dedicated calm spaces, role play kitchens and exciting water play stations, so children can explore and develop their curiosity and knowledge.
The Nurture Approach, which supports the Bright Beginnings Curriculum, was developed by Bright Horizons in the UK in partnership with clinical psychologist, Dr Sarah Mundy. It supports the key developmental needs of the child focusing on healthy emotional development and indicators of wellbeing. This programme will be incorporated as part of the curriculum at Bright Horizons Bishops Stortford Day Nursery and Preschool.
