The nursery was surprised by local firefighters who gave the children a fun and exciting experience exploring their fire truck and learning all about fire safety.

Tracey, Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Muswell Hill Day Nursery and Preschool said: “We want to say a big thank you to the team at Hornsey Fire Station who invited us on to their truck made the day so special for our children. They taught them so much around the importance of our fire service. It brought them lots of joy to be able to explore the fire engine and talk to the firefighters.”

The Nurture Approach, which supports the Bright Beginnings Curriculum, was developed by Bright Horizons in the UK in partnership with clinical psychologist, Dr Sarah Mundy. It supports the key developmental needs of the child focusing on healthy emotional development and indicators of wellbeing.

Daisy, a member of our fantastic Parent Panel, shares her thoughts on the Nurture Approach: “I love how each member of staff is so welcoming when we enter the nursery and uses my child's name to show her that they're excited to see her. As a result, she loves to stroll into nursery and say hi to all the grownups. She's always been a confident girl, but the way BH nurtures our babies, really sets them up so positively.”
