The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards for Care and Learning for children from birth to five years in England.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards for Care and Learning for children from birth to five years in England. All childcare providers registered with Ofsted must follow the EYFS Statutory Framework.
In order to meet these statutory requirements, we have encompassed the Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements within our Children’s HEARTS values for Wellbeing, which is our vision of excellence we expect for every child.
Providers must also show progress towards the Early Learning Goals (ELGs), which are the goals that children are expected to have achieved by the end of their reception year in primary school.
Within our Bright Beginnings Curriculum, we have captured the Early Learning Goals and are offering a rich, exciting, varied and holistic curriculum to our children, which will enable them to meet these goals at the end of their Reception year, along with our own Bright Beginnings curriculum outcomes.
Equally as important is children’s preparation for their future by ensuring that they are confident and capable individuals who are excited and motivated to learn.
