Welcome to Barnes Day Nursery and Preschool Bright Horizons. Our beautiful purpose-built nursery rooms, offering age-appropriate play and learning resources for children aged 3 months to 5 years are adored by families. Conveniently located near Hammersmith Bridge and Hammersmith Tube station, you’ll find excellent transport links and a handy buggy park making for easy drop-offs and pick-ups.

With rooms designed for every age, our baby room is the perfect, safe environment for your little one to explore and enjoy our sensory toys. We also have a separate sleep room, milk kitchen and nappy-changing room.

The toddler room offers safe adventures where your child can practice newly developed physical skills and build independence. Painting, messy play, construction and loose parts play are just some of the daily activities they'll enjoy.

Your preschooler will develop new interests in our preschool room through our Ready For School Programme, where early maths and literacy skills are enjoyed along with other Growing Enhancements. Your Creative Cook, Growing Artist or Growing Scientist can develop a healthy and happy approach to learning.

Children love our two large gardens with trees and covered seating areas, conveniently separated for age-appropriate play. Our baby garden and toddler garden are suited to each developmental stage and provide a safe space for your little one to explore. For your preschooler, our designated area includes a little bridge and secure zone for tricycles and balance toys.

In addition, our library is available for every age and stage, and our very own children's kitchen will spark their interest in preparing, cooking and eating healthy food; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
