Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool, located in the grounds of Cambridge Science Park, where we have our own unique charm. Our nursery features four large, open-plan rooms, giving your child lots of space to explore, learn, and play from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Conveniently located just off Milton Road, near the junction of the A14 and A10, and close to the M11 and Cambridge North train station, our nursery offers easy access for families. With onsite car parking, bike storage, and a buggy park, we provide added convenience for parents. If you work locally, feel free to leave your car here throughout the day.

Throughout our age-focused rooms, we provide the best start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

We offer complimentary settling in sessions for all children prior to starting with us which is tailored around each individual child’s needs. These start a month prior to your start date, having several opportunities each week before your start date to spend 3-4 hours in their future room, enabling the opportunity to familiarise themselves with their new environment and carers.

In our cosy Explorers room, babies aged between 3 and 18 months spend their days exploring social skills, sensory activities and environments designed to spark their curiosity and imagination.

Older babies love our large Investigators room, which features lots of different areas, allowing the children to discover their independence and choose activities that interest them.

Our 2 to 3-and-a-half-year-olds spend their days in our Investigators or Experimenters room. Activities are planned around topics inspired by the children's interests, making every day unique and full of learning opportunities.

Inventors is our spacious preschool room, run by a qualified preschool teacher who works with the children to prepare them for school. In addition, we offer Boogie mites an interactive music and movement session, which is loved by children of all ages and provides exciting opportunities to learn about the world through music and song.

Every room has access to its own dedicated garden space, which features resources and activities to aid your child's development. We also have a lovely communal courtyard with a large built-in sandpit, perfect for sensory and imaginative play; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
