An outstanding and beautilful nursery in epsom

Our beautiful Epsom day nursery provides Outstanding quality care to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Our nursery team is made up of caring and experienced professionals, including qualified teachers to give your child the best start in life. Baby and toddler rooms are vibrant and enriching, with age-appropriate resources and play equipment to spark the imagination.

As well as following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) we offer a Growing Enhancement programme, unique to Bright Horizons, which enables your child to enjoy a wealth of exciting, educational activities on their learning journey with us. Our enriching activities give every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to navigate subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing, and to thrive in school and beyond.

We are dedicated to instilling your child with a love of learning through the use of our ICT suite and extracurricular activities, including football, athletics and more. Children have access to a fantastic, large outdoor garden, giving them the space to play, have fun, explore and learn, with the freedom to access a range of age appropriate resources.

Set in a quiet residential area, Epsom Waltham House Day Nursery and Preschool is conveniently located near the M25, with Epsom Station only a ten minute walk away with trains to London Victoria and London Waterloo.

Our commitment to providing fantastic childcare has further been recognised by Ofsted, who has rated our Epsom day nursery as Outstanding two times consecutively.

We would love to meet you and your child, so book a visit today and we will show you all our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Banstead Day Nursery and Preschool Manager

Gemma Bruton

I started my career here in at the nursery, beginning my journey in our Preschool unit. Over the years, I have gained experience in all the rooms. I gained my Level 3 in Child Care and Early Years in 2010, Leadership and Management Level 3 in 2016 and currently studying Level 2 in Autism. Part of my role is Health and Safety Officer, which means I make sure the nursery is safe for all children, parents, visitors and staff.

I enjoy every minute working here at the nursery and am very proud to work alongside such an ‘Outstanding’ team.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
