Welcome to Bright Horizons Lewisham Day Nursery and Preschool, where we focus on providing children aged 3 months to 5 years with the very best care and education, understanding that these early years are crucial for building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and growth. Our Lewisham nursery is conveniently located close to Blackheath, Lewisham train stations, Lewisham tube and an onsite buggy park perfect for commuting parents.

Across our age-focused rooms, we offer an exceptional start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

In our baby room, babies from 3 months to 16 months will experience a loving transition from home to nursery life. We follow your child’s individual routine from home and babies enjoy a cosy and stimulating room with a sleeping area and access to a secure baby garden.

Toddlers is an active room for children from 16 months and older. This room has lots of different discovery areas, with furniture and resources to support their development with a large variety of exciting activities based on the children’s interests. The room has its own bathroom area to support your child to begin to potty train.

Our pre-school room is for children aged from 2.5 to 5 years old. To ensure your aspiring learner is confident to start school, pre-schoolers take part in our Ready for School programme, which structures and brings into focus maths, reading, writing and other essential skills they need for their next big learning adventure. In addition, we offer Boogie mites an interactive music and movement session, which is loved by children of all ages and provides exciting opportunities to learn about the world through music and song.

Children will love spending time in our large garden, which is full of exciting resources and activities. Preschoolers enjoy freeflow access, giving them the opportunity to choose indoor or outdoor play. There are lots of leafy trees to provide shade in the summer, and the planting area is perfect for mini gardeners. We also have tricycles, a sandpit, a mud kitchen, an outdoor seating area, and climbing frames.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
