Welcome to Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool. At our nursery in Macclesfield, our experienced and long-standing staff are dedicated to providing children aged 3 months to 5 years the best care and early education to help them flourish.

Bright and Welcoming Rooms

We have three beautiful home base rooms for each of our age groups; babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Our light and airy baby room is open plan with glass internal walls looking over to the toddler unit. The room benefits from a variety of sensory activities and resources, as well as lots of cosy spots to enjoy cuddles and stories. We also have our own bathroom and a separate milk kitchen.

Toddlers love having freeflow access to the garden area, allowing them to enjoy the fun of the garden throughout the day. They also have their own cloakroom and toilet area to support them with toilet training.

Preschoolers have two spacious rooms connected together by a cloakroom and a bathroom. In preschool, your little learner will have fun discovering all the key skills they need to prepare them for starting school.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Spacious Garden Area

Our large garden area is full of exciting resources for your little one to discover. The garden offers freeflow access from the rooms and features a mud kitchen, climbing frame and slide, ride-on tractors and trikes, and a garden planting area.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, wipes, nappies, formula and creams.
• Onsite parking.
• Our nursery in Macclesfield is located in Tytherington Business Park on the outskirts of Macclesfield.
• The nursery is located on Springwood Way, accessible via the roundabout off the B5090 (Tytherington Lane).
• Enjoy earlier opening hours of 7:30am to 6pm.
• Rated Good at our last Ofsted inspection.
