Welcome to Watford Day Nursery and Preschool. Our Ofsted Good rated nursery is run by passionate staff dedicated to providing the best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Inspiring Rooms to Aid Development

Younger children in our Bumble Bee room benefit from a large room, filled with resources to ignite their imaginations and curiosities. There is underfloor heating and overhead speakers where we play soothing music during nap time. We follow each child's care routine from home as closely as possible, so they'll always feel relaxed and secure with us.

In our Caterpillar room, 2-3 year-olds are encouraged to explore the room freely, choosing activities based on their own interests.

Preschoolers love their Dragonfly room, which has everything they need to prepare them for their next steps, including an IT suite.

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

The Curriculum is complemented by our Ready for School Programme, which supports the development of key academic and life skills so children can continue their learning journey with confidence.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

Cook up a Storm

Your little chef will love our children's kitchen, where we utilise our Creative Cooks Growing Enhancement, teaching children about healthy food options and food preparation. With child-size counters and sinks, and every utensil they need, our kitchen gives little ones the opportunity to build confidence in the kitchen.

Fun in the Garden

Classrooms have direct access to our lovely garden, which is divided into different areas for each age group, ensuring your child has the best resources for their development.

With fun activities and plenty of space to participate in games and even a covered area, garden time can be enjoyed come rain or shine.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to wipes, nappies, creams, and formula.
• Onsite buggy park and drop-off spaces.
