Columbus Courtyard Day Nursery and Preschool

Providing a nurturing environment to discovery, learning, and growth, Bright Horizons Columbus Courtyard caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years. Conveniently situated for commuting parents, our nursery is in close proximity to both Canary Wharf and West Ferry DLR stations, as well as Canary Wharf tube.

Our nursery features five bright spacious rooms with floor to ceiling windows and each room is dedicated to different age groups. In our lovely baby room, we focus on activities like ‘tummy time’, which support their physical and brain development. Our two toddler rooms provide a fun and stimulating environment which focuses on children's feelings and friendships. While our pre-schoolers receive the support they need to focus on becoming independent, curious learners in preparation for school. We also offer an enriching and well-being-focused curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Additionally, we have two indoor garden rooms one for our under two's and one for our over two's. These two large spaces provide the children with a space which is focused on promoting children's gross motor development.

We also have a calming sensory room available for all children, which supports children's co-regulation; and while your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app, this is available for all Bright Horizons parents. It will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

Our extra curriculum offerings are engaging and diverse including daily Boogie Mites music sessions and weekly Cooking Club. We have an external agency who provide Theatrebugs - a drama, music and dance session which focuses on the three prime areas of the EYFS.
